Glad to see the connection being made here between consumption and the environment. Anything legitimate I read on global warming says that changing fuel sources alone won't cut it. We will need to change our consumption patterns and what we buy to really make meaningful environmental changes.

Just wanted to say I've been enjoying your posts paddleon.

Also theres a book you might finding interesting, "Deep Economy" by Bill McKibben. I'm 3/4 thru it now & enjoying it. I should have it added to the Readings section in the next day or two.
