Is has been a really tough one for me. Seeing some close friends really suffer financially. And not really being able to help much.

Its a tough one for me too. Fortunately I've been able to maintain my financial position through all this and feel pretty secure in my job. I've seen a lot of family and friends struggle. I have helped my mother out, but I can only do it if I know I'm in a secure position. Its difficult to witness.
